Using Shared Experiences
Room's 1, 2 and 3 have enjoyed a number of fun shared experiences lately. These lead to many great learning opportunities such as providing:
- A common talking point for all children- they can all contribute to discussions
- A way to build and extend vocabulary
- Opportunities for practicing collaborative work and following instructions
- Listening and reporting back practice
- Art and craft experiences
- Writing experiences
- An opportunity for children to pose questions
- Extension of the children's knowledge of the world around them
- Practice of our school values
