ASB Get Wise.

Over the past few weeks we have been lucky enough to have a visit from ASB to talk about money! We learnt lots about how we can save money and how we can budget our money to save for things that we really want.

Pokemon Cards

Please see message below from the leadership team:

"Students can bring 5-10 cards to school

Students to only trade within their own group i.e Year 1 & 2, Year 3 & 4 or Year 5-8

If students are bringing more than 10 cards they are told not to bring any for the next week

If they continue to do so parents are contacted and they are not to bring any cards for the rest of the term."

Some Recent learning in Room's 1, 2, and 3

Busy Times Across our Learning Spaces Room's 1, 2 and 3

We have been learning to ask  open ended and closed questions and the difference between a question and a comment.

We have learnt the different words that can start a question.

We have worked together in mixed groups ( one from each learning space) to come up with some great questions for our Wondering Walls.

We have been taking turns at being the teacher and asking questions.

We have been  teaching each other dance moves and demonstrating our skills to others during P.E.

We have worked in mixed groups at art time.

Jungle exploring

This week we have been having a great time exploring the jungle during writing. We have been learning to use verbs (action words) and adjectives (describing words) in our story. All of us have been working so hard and our teachers think we are amazing. Some children even wrote their story as though they were one of the animals.
